This section is dedicated to the ancient art of quilling.
The quilling enables you to create forms of true art, and your own, using thin strips of paper rolled up.
How it works:
Quilling is the art of taking strips of paper, of varying widths and rolling, gluing and shaping them into different shapes. You then take these little shapes and glue them together to create awesome quilled masterpieces.
So, by using this technique, I create earrings, pendants for necklaces, placeholders, and bookmarks.
After creating and pasting the shape, I apply a water fixative in order to make the paper more resistant and to protect the product from moisture.
However, they are jewelry that should be handled with care and kept away from the water. I strongly recommend to take them off before taking a shower because they are not 100% water resistant.
The paper makes jewelry and the other paper objects very lightweight and therefore perfect to be worn all day and in every occasion.
The hooks are silver
The photos represent only a small part of what can be achieved. They are handmade jewelry, with stones, rhinestones and beads. Because of the unique qualities of craft, no quilled jewelry item will look exactly alike, making it a great form of expressing your individuality.
